Website migration

Move the website without casually discarding useful URLs and content.

Migration work starts at €995. The final scope depends on page count, content, redirects, assets, forms, domains and integrations.

Direct answers

What does website migration involve?

The details below use VURM's current product catalogue and public scope.

Is migration the same as copying a design?
No. A controlled migration inventories useful pages, content, URLs, redirects, forms, assets, domains and external services before the new version is published.
Can rankings be preserved?
Migration risk can be reduced with a reliable inventory, URL mapping, direct redirects and post-launch checks. Existing positions cannot be guaranteed.
What determines the price?
The public starting price is €995. Page volume, content quality, redirect requirements, assets, forms and integrations determine the final written scope.

Content reviewed:

Controlled change

Inventory, rebuild and verify.

1 — Baseline

Record what currently works

List indexable pages, meaningful URLs, content, forms, domains and available search or analytics evidence.

2 — Mapping

Define every retained or changed URL

Keep useful URLs where practical. Map a changed route once to the closest relevant destination and update internal links and canonicals.

3 — Launch

Test the public result

Verify redirects, status codes, sitemap, forms, domain, mobile use and index settings after publication.

Migration is not a promise to reproduce unsupported technology.

An existing store, portal, booking engine, account area or custom integration needs a separate feasibility decision. VURM does not describe a screenshot or embed as a complete migration.

Client content and assets also require permission and usable source files. Missing access or rights are project dependencies, not invisible studio work.

Frequently asked questions

What to confirm before deciding.

Will the old website stay live during the work?

A controlled project keeps the existing public version available until the replacement has passed its agreed checks and the domain switch is scheduled.

Do you migrate email accounts?

Not as part of the standard website migration. Email hosting and mailbox moves require the relevant provider and a separately agreed scope.

Can VURM migrate an online store?

Not as a standard native VURM store. Product, checkout, tax, shipping and order workflows require a suitable commerce platform and explicit integration plan.

Start with evidence

List the public pages and systems before agreeing a switch.

VURM will confirm what can be retained, rebuilt or needs another specialist before a quote is accepted.
